“To allow customers see charges of different TSPs (telecom support providers) and different LSAs (licensed support areas) at a single place, a try out form of web page namely www.tariff.trai.gov.in has been launched by Trai,” the regulator said in an argument.
Emphasising that it has a require to ensure visibility in the industry, Trai said various cost programs and other cost equipment are being offered at its web page in a down-loadable structure, for quick access.
At present, telecommunications suppliers offer information on various charges on their own websites.
Trai said the new system would not only benefit customers but also help other stakeholders, who can now carry out a relative research. As a first step, Trai has created cost information available for Delhi group, and desired user reviews. “To get initial reviews on the look and feel of this site from customers, try out form of cost information for Delhi LSA is also offered on Trai web page. The facts on the site are revealed by the TSPs of Delhi LSA,” it added
